When The Filter Fades

One of the most amazing benefits of making the decision to spend time with God is that you learn what He thinks about you and you will begin to see yourself through His eyes.  As you realize that He loves you more than you could ever fathom, created you for a purpose, and created you just the way you are, you begin to love yourself as He does. The world’s filter will begin to fade and you will be stripped of your picture-perfect filter.  It is an artificial filter that covers what is underneath like shame, guilt, ugliness, and inadequateness so that we will not see and accept who we were designed by God to be.

The filter that you have used to fade, blur, cover, or mask leprosy in your life will begin to fade away as God’s truth about you takes over your life.  As this truth seeps into your soul, you will gain self-confidence and become confident about who you are in Christ.  He will slowly reveal to you your God-given passions, desires, and attributes.

Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth – John 17:17

The leprosy will be revealed and through God’s mercy, love, and grace, the stained spots will begin to fade away. Oh, how ugly the process can be as we begin to see our true selves.  It is only natural to want to hide the sin and tainted flesh that we start seeing after we have sinned and lived according to the flesh.  We must break the strongholds, sins, and addiction.  Through Jesus’ death on the cross,  you will be forgiven and renewed.  The stains are washed as white as snow.  The stained filter you once viewed yourself under will no longer be marred from the view of the world, people, and the adversary but will reflect how God sees you.  Don’t you want to see clearly?

These things God has revealed to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God. – 1 Corinthians 2:10

After Removing Your Filter You Will See:

• You are no longer affected by other people’s filter they view you through because you will stand firm in the truth of God’s word
• God will replace your viewpoints with His viewpoints. 
• He will replace your artificial filter with His real filter.
• You will be made new as His word states.

There is ONE thing we can be certain of in life and it is that the creator of Heaven and Earth, created YOU because He loves you, oh so much! Regardless, of what is going on in your life, there is hope, freedom, and redemption.  He has appointed you to your life for A GREAT PURPOSE.
